Cortical Dynamics an investee company of BPH Energy published in the peer reviewed international journal Computers in Biology and Medicine providing scientific acceptance for the BAR analysis method.

BPH Energy's representatives attended BIO2008 in San Diego to discuss with international pharma groups the potential licensing opportunities for HLS5.

Dr Louis Winteringham presented on HLS5 at the Signalling and Cancer Symposium (ComBio) in Canberra.  Louise also presented a poster at the American Society of Hematology (ASH) reporting the findings concerning the role of HLS5 in controlling gene regulation and differentiation of leukemia cells.

The Western Australia Institute for Medical Research (WAIMR) research team were accepted for publication reporting their important findings concerning the role of HLS5 in controlling gene-regulation and cell differentiation in the respected journal Blood.

BPH Energy undertook an extensive high-throughout screening of 70,000 synthetic compounds yielding molecules that demonstrate potential for further anti-tumour analysis and drug development.

Molecular Discovery Systems a wholly owned subsidery of BPH Energy successfully completed a Collaborative Research Agreement with GE Healthcare, one of the worlds largest healthcare companies.

Diagnostic Array Systems an investee company of BPH Energy won a Commercial Ready Grant in 2007 to improve diagnosis using the DNA-based BacTrak System and completed the grant in 2008.

Dr Peter King was appointed the new Chief Executive Officer for BPH Energy Limted.  Peter was also invited to sit on the selection panel of the Science and Innovation Studentship Awards (SISA) this year.
